A life changing experience
It all started in 2006, when our founder volunteered teaching English to underprivileged children in Mérida, Mexico. Wanting to make a difference in her own country, she decided to look for a non-profit she could support in the Yucatan Peninsula, found a place to stay and started her volunteering adventure.
She had always loved to give back and help others, but volunteering with these underprivileged children was a life changing experience. She decided she wanted her full time job to be one in which she could make a difference in Mexico and share with others the happiness and gratefulness you can only experience while volunteering. That is when she decided to found Voluntrek.

After several years of working with non-profits and volunteers, Voluntrek offers volunteer and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities for corporations, groups, meetings and incentives in Mexico.
Voluntrek makes corporate volunteering easy for you: you no longer have to search for potential non-profits to choose from; you do not have to wait weeks for the non-profit to get back to you; you do not have to worry about speaking Spanish nor figure out what activities will be performed, what materials will be required nor where to buy them. Voluntrek handles all of these for you.
We will offer you a variety of CSR activities that take place with local preapproved non-profits so that you can choose the one that best fits your company´s needs, or we can customize an activity specifically for you.
Our job is to make sure that your company and your employees do not have to worry about anything but giving their best at the non-profit organization they will be supporting, and enjoying this unique experience of giving back and boosting team spirit.
