Trade and Put Together Basic Food Packages

Description:
The group breaks into different teams that need to put together basic food packages by trading products among them. These basic food packages will be donated to underprivileged families through a local non-profit.
Each team has one of the products that go in the packages, and all teams will receive a list of the products required to put the packages together. Teams will need to overcome challenges to acquire their products and then trade with other teams in order to complete all the products in the list. The teams will need to use their creativity, plan and work as a team in order to overcome obstacles and challenges to accomplish their mission; some of these obstacles could be cultural or communication barriers between the different teams.
At the end of the activity, the teams will put together the basic food packages with the products they acquired through trading. A non-profit representative will receive the food packages during the closing ceremony in order to deliver them to the beneficiaries.
Suggested Plan:
30 min: Arrival, non-profit introduction and instructions regarding the activities to perform.
30 min: Icebreaker and put teams together
120 min: Trading
30 min: Put together basic food packages
15 min: Closing ceremony, acknowledgments and food packages donation.
